Right of Withdrawal: Returned Goods Are Damaged or Lost
Has the seller informed you that the returned goods are damaged, that they have note received anything, or that they received an empty parcel?
If you used the return method offered by the seller (e.g. a return label), the seller must refund you within 14 days after you have informed them that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. In this case, the seller remains responsible if something goes wrong during the return, unless they can prove that you are at fault.
If the seller did not offer a return method, or if you did not use the method provided, they may wait until they have received either proof of shipment or the returned goods before issuing a refund. In this case, you are responsible for the loss or damage to the goods.
As a consumer, you are also responsible if the goods were damaged before you returned them.
